President's LetterI want to start by thanking all of the NDFBSA members for providing a professional environment for all levels of family service providers to be part of. When I first started working with youth and families in the Fargo/Moorhead area in the early 1990’s, I found myself learning so much from the professionals, the veterans in the field. Even though 15 or more years have gone by since I decided that I wanted to work with youth and families, I am still somewhat of a “rookie” compared to many of our members, as I found out by serving on the NDFBSA board and conference committees. I am sure that there are probably other organizations throughout the country that have just as much experience in the field, but I would bet that none are more familiar with thier own area or state as we are in North Dakota. So let’s continue to pass on our knowledge, our commitment to families and also our work ethic to the next generation of children, youth and family workers to come. So if you are looking for a great opportunity to continue to develop leadership and networking skills, please consider running for a board position or assisting the conference committee in 2008. I am looking forward to the Conference in Fargo April 8-10, 2008 at the Holiday Inn. I know our Conference Committee has been meeting and working to get the conference finalized. I also want to thank everyone that volunteered their time throughout the 21 years that NDFBSA has been in existence. Anthony Kozojed
